To obtain a better understanding of how metabolic and heart health change with aging.

To be enrolled in this study, you must meet certain requirements. You may be eligible to participate if you meet the following criteria:

  • BMI ≤35 kg/m2
  • 65-90 years of age

Study Duration: Up to 120 days

Study Commitment:

  • 1 Screening visit
  • 2 Overnight visits
  • 5 Outpatient visits
  • Exercise Training: 8 Weeks, 4 days/week

Study Procedures:

  • Medical History review, Physical exams, EKG’s (electrocardiogram)
  • Bloodwork, urinalysis
  • Body Weight, Height, Waist measurements
  • MRI’s & DXA’s
  • Exercise testing
  • Questionnaires
  • Glucose Clamp with RMR
  • Exercise Training

Compensation offered up to $ 1425.00 (sedentary group), and $300 (athlete group).
