Amanda “Mandy” Jones serves as Director of Clinical Research, at AdventHealth. In this role she is accountable for providing strategic planning, financial forecasts, establishing and maintaining the research infrastructure, as well as leading patient-facing research activities for the Translational Research Institute (TRI), Digestive Health Surgical Institute (DHSI) and Orthopedic Institute. Prior to her current appointment, Mandy served as the Clinical Research Operations Manager for the therapeutic areas previously mentioned.
While her research journey began in 2011 as a Research Nurse and Clinical Research Coordinator at the TRI, she continues to leverage her clinical experience and AdventHealth partnerships gained since 2005. Her commitment with AdventHealth has armed her with a wealth of institutional knowledge, allowing her to support and empower our teams for successful process development, resulting in team members working to their fullest capacity, while enjoying the work they do.
Mandy earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, both from the University of Central Florida and is a Registered Nurse. Early in her nursing career she dedicated her time as a Progressive Care Nurse on a multi-system unit, with a primary focus on Neurological and Surgical patients within our AdventHealth Altamonte campus.
