Clinical Research Manager
Robin Barron earned her Associate Degree in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 as part of the Pilot Class in the Seminole Community College and University of Central Florida Concurrent Nursing Program. As a licensed RN, she began her career in Acute Pediatrics. Following her passion for learning and education, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2009 from the University of Central Florida. During her time as a Direct-care RN, she cared for patients in the Progressive Care and Epilepsy Unit. She was a Leader for the Nurse Practice Council and assisted with writing the AdventHealth for Children’s Magnet Manual. In 2011, she took a position as a Clinical Research Coordinator with the AdventHealth for Children Research and Outcomes team with a focus on Pediatric (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU). She is a member of the Society for Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) and is a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP). In 2015, Robin transferred to the Center for Interventional Endoscopy as the Clinical Research Operations Manager. Robin’s research team supports the research platform of world-renowned Interventional Endoscopists and has a robust portfolio of Physician Initiated; Grant-funded; and Sponsor-funded studies.
