Celebrating 10 Years of Innovation and Discovery
Within the last ten years, not only did the organization's research pursuits expand to form the AdventHealth Research Institute, but it has also transformed the organization into a learning healthcare system. Envisioned and led by Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of AdventHealth, Steven Smith, MD, the TRI has gone on to uncover knowledge and learn more about the obesity epidemic, preventing diabetes, understanding why exercise is good for us, and so much more.
